Hello

My LC LC came with the (four) 265/70R18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, which I’m selling with 1000 miles on them. I’m including the spare Michelin LTX as well. Tires only. Local pickup in the NC Piedmont Triad area. Asking $350.

Excellent deal for anyone in the market. I’ve ran nitto ridge grapples on a few on my rigs and loved them.

Strange question...will all 5 of these tires fit in the back of a 24 LC with the rear seats flipped down? I am considering driving up from Atlanta to grab these if they will. Hell, I may drive up and pay 400 for just the 4 RG's if they will fit. Thanks...

I drove home with all five in the vehicle with the seats down. They are all in bags from the shop.

Yet another forum member who ditched the Nitto’s..

Why?

What did you replace them with?

They were good, and performed well in snow. They were, however, not as smooth or as quiet as I wanted. I’m used to running BFG KOs on the trucks and SUVs I’ve owned, which I have on my Jeep Gladiator. I didn’t want the added weight of KOs on my LC, so I gave the BFG Trail Terrains a try. They are light, quiet, and improve the handling, especially around corners. They will get me where I need to go with it, including fire trails, the beach, remote campsites, etc. …and the fuel mileage improved.

Are they 3PMSF rated??

EDIT: Yes.. they are.. But many people on the BFG website said that these tires had very poor traction on wet pavement. Please keep us posted on your experience with these Trail Terrain’s.

They have functioned better in the rain than I experienced with the Nittos. I haven't been in a torrential downpour yet to evaluate hydroplaning on the highway and will keep you posted. One thing that I didn't expect is the BFG Trail Terrains are stiffer reducing body roll appreciably, but not stiff in a way that makes the ride harsh. They make it handle so much better with a good balance of versatility off-road and on-road. For my purposes, I'm pleased.

I’ve driven these a number of times in the rain without issue, including no hydroplaning experienced. I have also had to panic stop for a deer at 55mph on damp pavement and the vehicle stopped quickly with excellent control. So far I’m a fan of the Trail Terrains.
