Hello All,

Long time owner of Toyota vehicles, and huge car enthusiast. In January 2025 we took delivery of our 2025 Landcruiser Premium in black on black. So far, quite impressed with the drivetrain, don't like the premium fuel, but happy with fit and finish. Love the difference in shift points between the 3.5 litre 6spd auto in the Tacoma, which i always felt was underpowered and constantly searching for the right gear, followed by a big surge. Engine is well suited, and pulls nice due to low end torque.

Have lots of plans for the LC250 which started with replacing stock tires immediately after 5kms with BFG K03 285/60-R20. Fit fantastic on stock rims (which i like the appearance of), and they are 33.5" diameter, adding some additional height. Zero rub, quiet ride, and much improved over K02 AT I have on the TRD PRO Tacoma. Two days later i fully wrapped the vehicle with clear XPEL film, which I hope will save the paint and keep it looking good longer. Tinted front windows to match the rear windows too. Have bought a lower bumper, a 20" Rigid single row light bar, a stock square light bar switch for spare slot, and Warn EVO 10S winch. Started assembling, but haven't installed yet until I finalize power. Power for light bar is OK in front for supply, but winch is a pain in the butt. Still contemplating best approach. Any safe and reliable methods welcome! Suspension upgrade to Dobbins or Kings, rock rails, roof rack, and other items to come soon. Only have 1400kms on vehicle, but enjoying it so far.

I will be selling the Tacoma, but will remove most of the goodies I installed, and will end up selling privately after. TRD PRO has Deaver stage 2 leafs, Westcott front extension kit, front bumper, rock rails, Warn winch, dual row Rigid lights bar, 33" BFG K02 tires, Alucab 270ยฐ Awning, Tepui tent and annex, Smartcap adventure canopy with side module kit with Alucab rails and risers. All LED lighting inside and out. Ordered truck in June 2016 in cement grey, auto transmission (wanted 6spd...kick myself still), arrived in August 2016 as a 2017. Been a fun truck, did lots of cool things, and visited great spots too.

Have cars too, but this is a Landcruiser forum.

Looking forward to hearing from some others on here, and getting advice and recommendations too.

All the best!

Brett

Looking forward to sharing upgrades as time progresses.

Surprised you chose 20" wheels, but understandable if that is what it came with. Have my fingers crossed ours will arrive with 18", but Toyota has a mind of their own.

Hello Nuke!

Thanks for the response. It came with 20", which I intended on changing to 18". I had my eyes on the Tundra TRD PRO BBS 18" alloy wheels, and thought a higher sidewall would be better too. The stock 20" wheels are a decent design, are a gunmetal grey, and the cast quality are excellent. From a longevity standpoint and strength, they are far better than most aftermarket wheels IMO. I will give them a go, and see what transpires.

When your LC arriving?

Thanks again for the response!

Welcome.. that's a good looking taco with nice upgrades. If you can afford to, I would keep it.

Brett, sounds like a good plan. Was not aware the Tundra bolt pattern is the same as a Land Cruiser. Good to know. Regarding when our LC will arrive, a painful question. Sadly, our Totota dealer is very small (they also sell Jeep/Ram), but am told we are "next in the queue".
