New LC owner - upgrading from a Taco

Hello everyone from the beautiful island of Hawaii. I am so excited to finally have my hands on a Landcruiser (they are hard to come by with the right combination of color, options and accessories when you are in the middle of the Pacific).
I've only put 113 miles on Honey Dijon but I love it so much more than my 24 Tacoma. So far my only upgrades have been tinting the front windows and swapping out the crappy OEM street tires for a set of BFG K02s in 275/60/20. I thought about getting some 17's but on island the off-roading is mild, mostly rolling on sandy beaches.

Welcome! What made you switch from the Taco? I was cross-shopping the 24 Taco before buying my LC

I bought a non-hybrid Tacoma. Once I drove the hybrid LC I just had to have it. I had a lot of mods on the Tacoma (and took a bath on the trade-in) but I didn't feel like investing in the engine performance mods to give it more grunt.

Haha yep, that’s exactly what happened to me too! Taco made more sense for me, but I made the “mistake” of driving it back to back with the LC and it was an easy decision after that If they made a hybrid long bed Tacoma I’d have pause, but I love my LC.

Anyway, welcome and congrats on your rig! I love that Trail Dust (and bronze oxide) color
