Greetings all! Call me HTony - I bring in a two-week old LC/LC to Eastern Texas. The whole process from dealer (allocation/my desired options/delivery) to initial impression were all good. Started end of Nov/24 and delivery middle of Jan/25- 6 weeks. Unusual to say “great sales agent” as I have had a few vehicles but the Toyota process, once understood is very good in my opinion,
*1946 Willys CJ2-at age 16 purchased for $65 -used lawn mowing money - learned a lot! Sold after I sunk it in a lake….
*1980 Int. Harvester Scout II-w/diesel engine (a dog) but a classic look and ride
*A couple of Jeeps….not missed, wife hated them
*1991 Land Cruiser FJ80….wife loved it!
*Another Jeep….I forgot wife hated them, mistake
*2-3 4x4 trucks- serviceable and nothing special
*2025 Land Cruiser LC P Heritage Blue- Back in the LC and she likes it! All good again!
We will let this one will play out but it should work for us on our acreage and interests in West Tx and Co.. Side note: I see very few LC’s here. This weekend in Dallas, no LC’s but dozens of GX550’s in shopping areas.
I do appreciate the postings of those before - lots of info. I will post on another thread some hints on how to avoid un-desired options from Gulf States Toyota for those of us who live in Ark/Ok/Tx/La/Ms.
See ya, HTony
