'25 LC 1958
Just bought a new '25 LC 1958 and so far enjoying it quite a bit. It's probably safe to say I'm a bit of Toyota truck (more accurately a body-on-frame) fanboy at this point, my last two vehicles were a 3rd gen Tundra & a 5th gen 4runner.

As a family we enjoy more remote vacation locations which require a 4x4. Everyone in the family is really excited to break this thing in somewhere, now to plan a trip.

Congratulations Pharaoh! Welcome to the forum. Sweating ours out, as is on a ship enroute at this moment.

Congrats! I also picked up a new 1958 on Wednesday. Coming from a 3rd gen tacoma, I am very pleased with the truck. I had never been in the 1958 but had seen and test drove a first edition. I had a deposit on a LC non premium, but when this one showed up, I had to pull the trigger.
Any plans for it?

Great! Probably a good thing you purchased it now, as come Tuesday and the tariffs, it is anybody's guess how things are going to develop.

Already did some pretty basic things. First thing was to remove the i-force max badging. Yesterday I installed some seat jackers in the front which I've done on my last 2 vehicles with great results and I also installed my dash cam using an adapter harness up in the mirror area.

I'm currently waiting on my sliders/steps to ship so the fam can get in & out easier. I have pretty young kids so I need to figure out a solution to carry stuff they need (pull-ups, etc). Other than that not much planned for it other than racking up the miles.

How about you, anything planned yet?

Fellow 1958 newbie here (~3 months)... It has been a great truck. How hard was it to take the i-force badge? I want to take it off but don't want to damage the paint.

Nice! Mine came with the OEM rock rails (they don't work to well as steps)
Still moving into mine, ordered screen protectors, fitcam dashcam, silicone license plate frames, and the console organizer.
Also trying to figure out where to store stuff, not a ton of options.
Now trying to figure out what tires to go with. Love the LC, but man these tires make it look like it skipped leg day

It's easy. I used a Ryobi 18v heat gun to soften the adhesive & then just peeled it off. Some of the adhesive remained but it peeled off pretty easily. I then did a final clean-up with goo gone.
A lot of folks use dental floss as well to remove badges, I only used a heat gun because the Ryobi one is pretty slow to heat up and doesnt get as hot as a plug-in heat gun does. I imagine a hair dryer would probably be a safer heat source to use but you'd still want to keep the heat moving around to prevent any paint damage... or just use floss
