Little trick saved some chunk of money yesterday

I closed a deal on leasing 2025 LC250 Premium yesterday in New England. I traded in 2021 4Runner Nightshade with good equity in it, but dealer wanted $642.00 in monthly payments. But I did my homework and brought my laptop with me. Toyota has a great lease calculator on their homepage and I entered all info about the trade in value and dealers discounted price. Financial manager had deer in headlights look, but I told him that I am taking my business somewhere else if he cannot match online configured price. Then he change his tune and offered $462.00.
And I am going to take delivery tomorrow.

This is very good advice! I always pre-calculate everything before going to the dealership and do the same if the numbers don't match up. I have it ready on my phone and will even set up multiple tabs with various options just to be sure any changes add up.

I printed out the estimate and loan amount on THEIR website and brought that in. I'm glad I did because there was a different loan that was being "offered" at the time of PU, with a higher %. I had literally done that printout that morning.

Some of these underneath switches they do is annoying.
