This thing was a beast in one of our rare (8") snow storms. The main street to the Capitol Building in the background is clear, but I had it in 4 wheel low on a lot of side streets. (The 8' black steel fencing in the background surrounds the entire 8 block Capitol complex and was put up for the Jimmy Carter funeral, the Jan 20 Inauguration and to prevent any possible Jan 6 redux). Really happy with how this thing handled, very glad I replaced the stock all seasons with AT2's.

We've had several lake effect snow squall dumps here. Up to 48-inches. I've been blasting around with Continental winter tires and the centre diff locked. Awesome. Even pulled out my other Mazda SUV.

But I keep forgetting to take pictures!

DMV! We should do a meet ๐Ÿ˜Ž. I really wanted to take the LC out in the snow but chickened out. Maybe next snow
My personal stance is that I want a vehicle that can handle snow whatever winter conditions you throw at it and allow me to be confident driving in it...but I'm old enough and have driven in enough really sketchy winter conditions over the years that I'm not going out "just for the fun of it", primarily because I don't trust 90% of the other drivers on the road to know what the hell they're doing, especially around here.

I'm just fine to leave it in the garage and stay warm inside myself if I don't have to go out...plus it's less road salt to have to wash off later

Just back from Montana. LCs are everywhere there...

Came back to 8" of snow, and ran it around this am and did some doughnuts in a parking lot just to see how she did (mandatory testing on new vehicles). I'd give it a solid B+. Your tires will make a difference, but I don't think the traction control software is as good as my former Land Rover. I couldn't get that one sideways, even rocking stock tires. With snow tires, it was planted to the ground in anything. This one will slide while under power into a turn.

Good to know. First measurable snow in Virginia in years to stick around, so I'm not too worried about it.
