LC delivery logistics question

For some of you guys “in the know”…my LC LC was in Chicago on 3/28, off train and “waiting to be loaded on a truck to be taken to dealer.” The dealer is less than 300 miles away, so I assume a one day truck drive.

When they are off the train, what is a typical wait time to be put on a truck for final delivery? My dealer is 100 miles from me, and I would love to be able to make some plans in advance for getting a ride there to pick it up. Dealer just hasn’t been much on communication.

They probably, IDK, wait till they have a full load going in that direction. I know that's not the answer you were looking for but.......... to be honest, I'm not sure anyone knows for sure except the trucking company.
