KN63 intake

I understand they cannot ship to CA, but does anyone have experience with the KN63 air intake system? They claim enhanced (though louder) engine sound + 15HP and 20 ft lb torque...

I put a K&N intake on my 2016 Tahoe but took it off. They introduce a lot of sound from the intake that doesn’t really amplify or improve the exhaust note in my opinion, but adds a mechanical drone that comes from in front of you.

Obviously enough people like it that they’ve built a business around the general idea. I did not like it.

The oil on the filter will screw up you fuel management Mass Air Flow sensor. I used one on one of my prior vehicles, and did oil analysis before I used it, and after I put it on. There was gross oil contamination. Use at your own peril.

@$350 give or take, i doubt any real improvements are possible vs the very good stock system. A case of filters always here, any doubt easy change out ,, carry on,,,.
