I searched the forum and didn’t see it here. If you’re not using the other key FOB.

Found this in the manual:

To put your key into power saving mode, all you have to do is follow three simple steps. You push and hold the lock button. While you're pressing it down, press the unlock button twice. This little lamp in the top corner will flash four times, letting you know that it's entered sleep mode.

Key points about Land Cruiser key fob standby:
  • Function: This feature prevents the key fob from constantly transmitting signals, saving battery life.
  • Activation: Press and hold the lock button, then quickly press unlock twice.
  • Deactivation: To reactivate the key fob, simply press any button.

It's also advisable to put your key fob in sleep mode when you are in a crowded area ie..... at the mall, bar etc..... or If you live in an apartment complex............ it prevents anyone from walking by you and cloning your fob or walking up to a window/door/wall and cloning etc........

I do this every evening. Its become habit.
Ditto. I also have my spare key in power-saving mode all the time (I keep it in a safe, so cloning is not an issue with my spare key, but I rarely use my spare keys, except to swap them once every few months),
