LC Newbe here!
Has anyone found a solution for the lack of front seat and console item storage with the "Cooler Box" functioning as a cooler box (as designed)?
There are lots of choices on AMAZON, but nothing that looks like it really solves the lack of storage issue.
Any help?

Welcome to the forum (y)

Searching the forum turns up a few items, like an insert tray for the cool box that turns the top part into storage. One idea I stole from the forum already is a Carharrt seat back organizer for tucking away small items.

Welcome to the Jungle!

There are many posts concerning the storage solutions (or lack there of) on the Forum.

Don't doors have pockets??
1. Glove cmpt: reg, pen, meds, knife
2. Doors : glasses, sunglasses, tuk, gloves
3. Back door, small towel and scraper
4. Any space in rear hatch for cables and emergency shovel, light

A lot of folks are used to a lot more cubby space in the interior. How are you finding the storage space in your 250?

I dont have a need for a lot of cockpit storage. I use the cooler box all the time and put a small aftermarket tray on top. It is big enough for sunglasses, a pen and notepad, and other odds and ends like a small flashlight. My phone goes on the wireless charger pad. There is additional space of course in the glove box and side panels but I hardly use them.

The LC has tremendous capability in the cargo area, roof rack, and indirectly with the trailer hitch for bikes etc. First aid kits, tool bags, and offroad gear are easily stored in the back with lots of nifty organizers and cubby spaces.

What else could we need?

I notice the lack of space as I transition from the family wag to the LC daily. I put my sunglasses on the felt debris catch above the steering column. I have a pretty big center console since I have a 1958, but it's really just a dump box until I find some organization solution. For my needs/use case, I think that a tray on the dash above the infotainment or a console tray between the passenger air vents would have been the only things I would actually use. My wife clutters her various cubbies to the point that it resembles the inside of her purse, so I also have a constant reminder of what I don't want.

TL/DR: I don't think the LC suffers from a lack of storage space as much as it suffers from a lack of organizational space. The Bison Gear molle cargo system resolved 99.9% of what I needed, and I appreciate the utilitarian design that affords me the ability to customize with a legitimate reason to do so.

It serves my needs perfectly well. Less place to accumulate junk.
The driver's seat interior storage space is my issue. Comparing with my RAM LTD (has a buch), which is my other wildlife management acreage vehicle. I'll figure it out, just looking for any other good ideas from LC 250 members on this issue.

Thanks DD, I am still figuring it all out. The Bison gear equipment is great, but not designed for my within reach issue while making my commute to my acreage. Rear storage is certainly ample for all my needs.

Seems like people have severe George Carlin Syndrome these days. My key steal from my RR will be the coat hanger that attaches to the headrest!
Yeah...I am one of those guys George was poking at! I am trying to figure out what all I really need for my wildlife management trips to my rural property. I am replacing a BMW M5 with the LC as the LC is a much more practical extra vehicle! My other ride is a fully loaded RAM LTD with every tool needed stored in their cleverly designed RAM Boxes. The LC front seat storage is truley a 1st world problem!

Stickerfab and a couple similar companies have some flexible shelf-style applications available. I decided it wasn’t for me in the end, but some of it was compelling. Just in case you haven’t seen it yet…

Thanks for all the forum suggestions on interior storage.

I did acquire the Cooler box insert and 2 sunglass visor clips. on AMAZON. Both helped my front seat organization.

1. smabee Center Console Cool Box Organizer for Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 250/ Lexus GX 550 2024 2025 Armrest Storage Box ABS Insert Tray Accessories (Only Fit Cool Box) Black

2. Yuoyar Sunglass Holder for Car, Magnetic Leather Sunglasses Holder and Ticket Card Clip, Car Visor Accessories, 2 Packs (Black)

i use this silicone one that gives extra storage on the sides of the center console - https://a.co/d/0b6PstU
SlickLC - I saw this item but wondered about its real functionality versus the muted look of all that black silicone, contrasting against the design beauty of the premium package leather interior that it covers. Also, I wondered if it would degrade in the tough summer Texas heat where I live?
I'd like to see a picture of your install if possible. Thanks R_che

im in florida sun and heat but it really looks exactly like pictures show. i got it originally to protect the cheap plastic from scratches but the extra storage is really helpful. i keep car keys, napkins, knife, flashlight and whatever small item i might have on me at the moment. its silicone so it doesnt degrade and if it gets dirty just empty, take it out and give it a rinse. id get you some pictures but my wife took it to work.

You can hide an entire family of illegals in a RAM....ridiculous excess and a silly comparison. The epitomy of American excess.
