Here is how I run FITCAMX rear camera wire in my Land Cruiser 250 without removing any trims or panels along the way.
Whole process took me about 45 minutes, including the front (I use original top cover for better fitment).
I didn't take pictures while I'm doing it since I've been doing this way on all my vehicles since 2012, it's pretty straight forward with basic tools.
Also I did not remove weather striping, there is enough room to gently slide the cable in with zip tie locks between the ceiling edge and weather strip rubber liners or 3 plastic pillar trims. Only weather striping I removed was where cable came out by the rear hatch roofline.
I use 6 zip ties in total to keep the cable in the ceiling, there is good size gap between roof and ceiling.

Edit: To those of you who may concern about side curtain air bags,
The way I route the cable is in the ceiling not behind the side plastic panels or the pillar trims.

Just curious. Why did you elect not to run the wire through the cable guide to avoid possibility of pinching?

I thought about running wire through the cable boot but in case of warranty this way I can remove whole Dashcam setup within 15 minutes.
Apparently Toyota may void electrical warranty on where we attach aftermarket components.
