Just wanted to say hello as a frequent lurker and now a member. I’ve used this forum over the last few months as a great source of info on all things LC since picking ours up in September 2024, now with just over 5k miles. It’s the LC trim with Premium package in Underground and the Java interior. Since picking it up I have replaced the factory horn, added hood struts, installed the Victory 4x4 rear window molle panels and shelf, added a rear step bumper for the hitch, and added the Fumoto drain valve. I will be swapping out the 20” wheels as soon as I can make a decision on what 18” combo I want to go with as well as upgrading the skid plates. I won’t be doing any heavy off road so I’m leaning towards the FE plates, although I would like something with the access panels for easier oil changes. I’m also going to replace the current running boards with something a little better, but haven’t made a final decision there either. They will just need to have some non-slip step action so my wife can get in/out without issue. Leaning towards the DV8, we’ll see. Inside I haven’t done much other than added a printed tray my buddy made for the Cool Box and got a silicone cover for the center console that also has a couple of pockets on either side. Surprisingly, it fit perfectly and looks nice while giving us somewhere to put the odds and ends we always have in the car. Sooner than later I’d like to add some ditch lights and maybe a light bar. The only thing we really haul is our kayaks so I probably will just keep the current rails.
I think that about covers it for now. Thanks for all the great info and knowledge. While it isn’t perfect, we are still really enjoying it and I’m looking forward to those mods in the near future as well as some more outings! I’ll be posting again in one of the main Squeaky Brake threads…yep, have that issue, maybe fixed after today’s trip to the dealership.
