I finally achieved the elusive 25+mpg... and got over 400 miles out of one tank!

I did it!

It was a road trip to the coast of N.C. for a bike race, and I kept the speeds to within 5 of posted, spent most of the trip on US 70 with a posted limit of 55, and only about 100 miles of it was interstate speeds.

Lessons learned from this test of patience and throttle discipline; don't be tempted to mash the accelerator just to appease an impatient driver from behind. Their lack of planning and foresight does not constitute an urgency of your foot on the accelerator.

I tripped 6000 miles on this drive, used premium fuel, used the adaptive CC almost exclusively, and have the Nitto Ridge Grapplers set at 36psi with a bike on the bike rack the entire trip.

Have you done the math using a calculator? I find that my vehicleโ€™s lie-o-meter is actually reading 1mpg lower than actual, this was even the case before I went up a tire size.

First vehicle I have ever owned that read ms lower than actual.

Same here. I've been using Fuelio and tracking every fill up (premium fuel) and sometimes it's been off by as much as 4mpg below actual.

I log all my fuel ups with Fuelly, and the math from it came out to 25.7, so still above my goal.

The psi in mine is 32. Would adding a few more pounds make a material difference. Honestly asking? And congrats on the stellar performance.

Donโ€™t open the door immediately after shutting off the vehicle. It takes a few seconds.
I see that, but it's a black screen with white type, the photo above is the green. I'll give it a go. Wasn't sure if it was a LCLC vs 1958 thing

I see what youโ€™re saying. I think it is in the first edition only. I have the base model and only get the black and white.

The dealer initially delivered it with 40 in all of them, but after slowly testing over the last few months; 36 is where I find the best ride for my commutes.

It does exist! Stock tires?

Your LC came with Nitto Ridge Grapplers from the dealership or did you add them after the fact, because my LC came with Michelin LTX Trail Tires which according to the door panel should be set to 36PSI.

Originally came with Toyo from the dealer, but they ordered and installed the Ridge Grapplers as part of my purchase deal.
