How to remove side mirror caps

Please advise how to remove side view mirror caps. would like to paint them to match the top of the FE offwhite top.

Thank you. i used the plastic trim removal tool, starting at the Bottom. Took 2 minutes on each side. No issues.

Are the Black Plastic caps on the mirrors painted black or are they made of black plastic?

just removing the side mirror piece! Switching it out with a Japanese blue mirror

Still not exactly sure if you want to unbolt the mirror from the door or just remove the outer cover from the mirror or just remove the glass...........

Thanks!! 2nd pdf hit the jackpot. Just the glass... want sure where the connectors are but illustration was exactly what i needed.
