How is your diesel consumption & DPF regen?

Quick search didn't show anything for the 1GDs, so figured I'd start.

1GD 48v.

Averaging 9.2L per 100km- I was expecting worse, but hopefully it'll get better.

Had my first DPF regen at ~215km, (3 or 4 bars) lasted less than 10 minutes. I thought this was a little early, but it's probably normal?

I rarely see anything about the hybrid on the dash- it charges while coasting downhill but I have yet to see my battery full always has 3 bars to go, very rarely see ECO and Power light up.

You are the first member I have seen posting with the diesel hybrid.

How are you getting on with it?

I seem to be getting 8L/100km and a regen every 250 miles or so with the non hybrid 1gd-ftv.

I don't notice the hybrid. I just had 40km drive, in that time I probably had a combined 15 seconds of CHG, ECO popped up 2-3 times and absolutely no PWR.

No change on battery charge, started and finished with 3 bars to full, it didn't increase or decrease. I got to one bar to full once, after a very long downhill a few days ago, but that's really the only time I've seen it move.

If I didn't have the widget, I wouldn't even know it's a hybrid.

Interesting. I don’t think we have that display on our US versions and I was thus confused by your initial post referring to ECO or PWR in that context.

We have a small Max gauge which spools up when the electric motor is contributing. Below that, we have the related battery charge - similar to yours, but mine is fluctuating quite often as the charge is used or regenerated

I'm averaging around 8l/100km on my non mild-hybrid 2.8 diesel Prado.

The car does a DPF regen every 350km or so regardless, even on long roadtrips when I'm doing 145km/h it does regens multiple times during the 900km long road trip 😁 .
