Like many of us we have ditched the giant Diaper cover and settled for the OEM factory half cover as the least offensive looking option. I wanted something clean and custom sized to cover the opening so I had a friend design this for me. I am trying to figure out a way to cover the rest of the area in perhaps a 3 piece design, want to retain the hitch pin to secure it but its a weird little area full of angles and recesses.

I'm going to try to figure out a design to cover the rest of the area.

He has these up on his ETSY shop if you want to clean up the back with out a little and still be able to drop in a ball real quick. I have had him increase the dimensions by a few MM since I took these pics, just to cover the entire receiver. Beveled edges and slightly curved to match the side profile. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1851787288/toyota-land-cruiser-lc-250-hitch-cover?etsrc=sdt

I used the half hitch cover and the Reno Hitch slider and their shackle. View attachment 25664
I have a similiar one and every time i needed my trailer i threw this in the cargo area and then it just clanged around and beat up the cargo area. This cover is really for someone who uses a trailer and just doesnt plan on getting stuck =)

I spent almost $200 too on a functional option also https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Hi...cphy=1025990&hvtargid=pla-2281435178058&psc=1 . Guess ya'll are missing the point $25 to make it "less busy" not intended to provide any function whatsoever

Also what you posted is not a cover lol
I just think you spend 70 to 80k on a rig the cover looks cheap and does not make it look any better. I am not trying to bust balls. It is each person's rig and they will do what they want I just think there are better looking options! That are also functional!
