Toyota Land Cruisrr 250 first edition
Hello everybody, I discovered this fantastic forum, I live in lake Como Italy and just bought my third Land Cruiser, after a 120,150, decided for 250 first edition, we fitted a warn winch with few modifications, I wish to add nice tires like Goodrich k02 and winter specific ones, but in Italy we have very strict law, we are allowed to use lower speed code in few winter months only, and at present we don’t have availability in the market any tyre 265/65 r18 with V speed code, I don’t really understand why was sorted out such high code.
Car shape is fantastic, although electronic is too invasive, and also no space available for small objects near driver seat, I found your forum looking for info to remove the central refrigerator to have more space.
All the best wishes for the new year!!

Welcome to the forum from abroad! Congratulations on the new LC. Agreed, the electronics in the new vehicles can be a bit overwhelming. This said, the Toyota TSS has saved me from serious situations. Tell me, is your Land Cruiser a turbo-diesel?

Welcome to the Forum. I love Como. I would be interested to know where you go off-roading and see some pictures.

Yes is a 2.7 205 hp turbo diesel, me and lot of LC owners, wish to have the 2.4 6 cylpetrol Like in Middle East countries, but the Toyota Italy “nuts” don’t want to import it… too much stress for them 😂

Usually I go to the mountains around Como lake, but the size of the car is a bit a limit, or to mountain few hours away, but here we have big restrictions to drive off-road, I have been in the US and Australia years ago and is more easy

Welcome to the forum! I wish we had a diesel option in the US. We only have the hybrid 4cylinder here.

Welcome! Spend some time in the manual, and you'll be able to turn most of the intrusive stuff off (start with the Driver Monitor Camera if you have it). The TSS 3.0 features work well once you learn to use them, and can anticipate what the vehicle will do in unusual situations.
