I love the heated cloth seats in my LC 1958. They heat up quickly. However, I notice they never turn off. Unless you turn them off. Do they ever go off? Do they go off after the car has been turned off for a few hours?

I believe they stay on until you switch them off. I always just turn mine on the first stage and they are hot enough in not time so I flip them off.I love the heated cloth seats in my LC 1958. I've never owned a vehicle with seated seats before, and doubted I'd use the feature at all, but i admit that after a day of skiing, the heat feels theraputic on my achy muscles and backThey do not go off automatically. You need to switch them off. If you leave them on when you shut the vehicle off, they will be set to the same temp when you start the vehicle again. If you think about it, that's kind of how it should work. Imagine you're on a long road trip and you just want a little heat on your back because it feels good and the seats turned off every 30 minutes. My wifes RAV4 and my previous 5th gen 4Runner would stay on until they were shut off. I don't think I've been in a vehicle where they auto off regardless of the brand.
As I think about it now, the heated seats on one of my Range Rover Sports automatically went off automatically at about the same time the Check Engine light came on and the right rear window would automatically roll down. Way ahead of their time....I don't think I've been in a vehicle where they auto off regardless of the brand.
They’re nice for sure. I find myself using them like a heating pad on low even in the summer. Therapeutic for sure. Now, I have never owned a vehicle with cooled seats before so I’m interested to see how that goes when it finally warms up in Ohio later this year.I've never owned a vehicle with seated seats before, and doubted I'd use the feature at all, but i admit that after a day of skiing, the heat feels theraputic on my achy muscles and back
