Hello LC team.
I’m an incoming. My 2016 Tahoe is aging out and suddenly feels too big to everyone else in my family. Frankly, the Tahoe has been an outstanding vehicle and has given me few problems in 115K miles. But it is really big and the latest body update looks like it’s 15% larger yet.
I have a deposit down on a GX, but I think I like the Land Cruiser ethos more. I watched the Car Care Nut review of both, and it seemed pretty clear he likes the LC better, including the engine tech. I was a little surprised since the LC engine is more complex. But he spoke highly of the simplicity of the design.
I don’t have an allocation on the GX yet (put down the deposit in January) and am starting to see LCs on lots. So I’m going to wait a bit longer and take the LC plunge.
My other car is a 2016 991.1, so the LC should be a great companion.
We live in Colorado and split time between our place outside Denver and one in Avon, so lots of going up and down the hill in all kinds of weather and the occasional trip to a trailhead.
Looking forward to the collaboration.
