Were you think that the inverter didn't really work? I found the video a bit clueless.
A major benefit of the inverter is that it either eliminates house batteries completely or allows much smaller systems. It eliminates the need for solar. The reason solar is used is because a conventional vehicles alternator is often insufficient, even with daily driving.
