So I was the Houston rodeo on Sunday, amazing event, but a family was passing the car as we were walking up to leave, and I heard the dad say something along the lines of, “oh man that’s a great looking rig!” And the son said, “yea but the interior is still garbage.”
Right about that moment I clicked the unlock button. The dad laughed and the son looked at the ground. Lol.

The young lady at the car wash just told me it’s very nice and her favorite car to come through, so we’ll call it a win overall.

After snaking my way thru the parade lineup at Chick-Fil-A yesterday; A very young, braces, cute, red-vest, energetic employee asked for my name and said “wow I love your truck -what is it”. I told my wife of our encounter, and that I thought she was hitting on me. Wife was not impressed,

A Subaru driver came over to us yesterday at a gas station and asked what the color was called (Trail Dust) and went on and on about how he loved the color with the lighter roof and the truck in general.

I’ve heard some people tell me they can’t decide whether they love it or not as I’m looking at one. It can be a polarizing design I suppose. Which makes sense given the LC leans into retro design. To me it’s just a great design though, not boring at all, which it seems is some people’s expectations of Toyota.

Three young girls (9 or 10 ish) were sitting together in the backseat of a new SUV and yelled out the window in unison “ we love your car” while stopped at a light. Made my day. Mine is Trail Dust.
