Hi all,

My birthday present when I turned 18 was the key to my family’s 2000 LC. Having been the passenger of this truck for those preceding 9 years, I knew full well the reliability the LC offered. We are from NJ and off roading was not on my family’s list of outdoor activities however we were able to appreciate the safety and durability the LC offered through hurricanes and blizzards. We eventually moved to Colorado, with the LC. After several great years out there, we ended up selling that big green machine with over 350,000 miles on it in 2016. I’ve missed it ever since and always knew if I had enough money, I’d buy my own LC.

I live in San Diego now and couldn’t justify to my wife buying a nostalgic 2000 LC with gas prices the way they are. When the hybrid version came out, that helped turn a nostalgic desire into a reasonably reality.

Now I can happily say I am the proud owner of a Meteor Shower (Brown Sugar Metallic according to the Toyota app) 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 1958!

Being in SoCal, I fully intend on dipping my toes into the off-roading pond and look forward to learning from this community.

Thanks,

CR

Very welcomes to LC forum, especially, to SoCal gang ;)

Welcome! I have the meteor shower as well and love it.
You're lucky to live so close to some amazing looking trails and off-road adventures.
