Rockies
Previous vehicles were all heavily modified wranglers, so having less ground clearance and articulation is new to me. I enjoy going to Moab and have a trip coming up next month. I do not plan on the LC being a rock crawler but I also like to push limits more than I should. I don't plan on doing more than a rated 6 trail. I will do Hells revenge, poison spider, seven mile rim, etc. So far I have the stock Toyota skid plates (not the plastic ones). RCI rock sliders are going on this week and a gas tank skid to follow. What else is really needed? How much will the rear control arm mounts get abused? How about lower shock skid plates? Currently on 35" Toyo AT3s and peak suspension front and rear spacer lift.

I've only got a few hundred miles offroad up to Level 5 (UT and CO), and the only thing I've hit so far is the skid plates. This week I tagged the aft end of the transmission plate a couple times on Chicken Corners, and fully expected to see scrapes on the various rear mounts that hang so low. Debating on some of the RCI solutions to some of this, as right now I only have just under 2" of garage clearance with the FE rack, so limited ability to lift. And honestly, the stock ride both on and offroad is so much better than the 4Runner that I hesitate to touch the suspension until the shocks wear out.
