2025 Land Cruiser
Hi Everyone,

I’m thrilled to join the Land Cruiser Forum community as the proud owner of a 2025 Land Cruiser with the premium package! I’ve been lurking for a while, soaking in all the great advice and tips, and I’m excited to finally be part of the group.

I’ve been a loyal Toyota fan for many years when my journey began a 1990 Celica. I’m still the original owner of a 2006 4Runner V8 Sports Edition which is sitting pretty at 160,000 miles, running like a champ! That vehicle has been through thick and thin, from road trips to off-road adventures. It’s hard to part with such a reliable beast, so it’s staying in the family as a backup.

The jump to the 2025 Land Cruiser has been a dream come true. I went for the underground exterior with the premium package because I wanted something unique, versatile, rugged, and packed with modern tech while staying true to Toyota’s legendary reliability.

I’ve only had it for a week, but I’m already impressed by its off-road capability, smooth ride, and luxurious interior.

Looking forward to reading your thoughts, tips, and must-do mods (if any!) for this new generation. Also, if anyone has advice on transitioning from a 4Runner to a Land Cruiser, I’d love to hear it!

Thanks for having me and I’m excited to learn, share, and be part of this awesome community!

Cheers,
Michael

Nice looking LC, and a nice color too. Enjoy! And welcome!

Excellent choice. I have the same all the way around.😎😎👍👍
Thanks.

What upgrades have you added. based on some of the recommendations here, I have ordered the hood struts and hidden storage box. It’s sad that these were not included in our LC as both were included 2006 4Runner Sport.

Hidden storage box? Say more.

Still scoping out rock rails, tires, etc. it’s still stock. I live in NW NM, close to all the San Juan trails. I’m thinking Toyota OEM rails and maybe KO3’S. NO access to mtn’s till Junish…. So time is on my side. Did Mineral creek this past fall in my buddies Rubicon. Great trail. I think I’ll stay with standard tire size and maybe some shocks, but nothing to rad at this time. Lots of choices, more on the way….we’re lucky campers!!!

I’m getting the Toyota LC rock sliders installed on Friday and will be selling the running board it came with.

I have rock sliders on my 2006 V8 4Runner which have saved me a couple of times.
