I'm trying to put together the most comprehensive thread on Block Heater options for our Land Cruiser 250's.
From what I've gathered so far: a Block Heater is not a factory option in the US, but it is available from Toyota in Canada.
The block heater is a "cartridge type" with a small probe that clips into a preexisting hole that is cast into the block, versus a traditional "freeze plug" style, that replaces a freeze plug in the block.
I have obtained the Toyota Factory P/N out of Canada, and I also got ahold of the factory install instructions.
