Well, it’s been about 16 months or so since I put my deposit down, and I FINALLY have a Tahara built 2025 Standard Trim in Brown Sugar Metallic (aka Meteor Shower in the US). Got it about a week and a half ago, and after sending it in for new winters and PPF, finally had a chance to go out for a short drive in the foothills last night, so thought I’d post my first beauty shot of many to come.

I’m sure many others will agree, but I have to say, every time I drive this thing I’m a bit blown away by how COMFORTABLE it is - especially for an off-road focussed vehicle.

Cheers!

Well done, Skidaddl. Sharp color and package.

I just realized something....I never really knew how to spell the word "skidaddl." So thank you for that as well! You're not half bad for a Canadian. 🍻 :p

Brown Sugar Metallic! I'm surprised you guys didn't call it Maple Syrup Metallic. LOL

Good looking rig and great photo. You're going to love it more every time you drive it

Congrats! That was a long time coming.

Also, great colour choice! You'll find it has a wide spectrum of shades depending on the lighting.

Indeed- this was one of my first thoughts as well when I test drove one- it is comfortable with excellent on road manners.

Outstanding.

What winter tires did you have installed?

"The correct spelling is "skedaddle". It is an informal verb that means to run away quickly or flee. For example, "We skedaddled as soon as we saw the snake entering our campsite". " -Google AI Overview

I took it as a play on words..... Ski Dad ??
Nailed it! My daughter was pretty seriously involved in alpine ski racing. We ate, breathed, and slept it for over a decade. Many, many days making lunches at 5:30 before driving to the hill for training. Started out as my PS2 handle years ago, and it kinda stuck.

Or in my case, a play on words due to my daughter's sport of choice ;)
