I saw some youtube video the other day where the guy was reviewing either the LC or FE trim, can't remember. He said the smaller screen on the 58 trim looked "absurd", which I thought was an absurd thing to say. Now don't get me wrong, I can certainly see the advantage of the bigger screen, especially where the additional camera views are concerned. But I don't have the additional cameras, and I find the smaller screen more than adequate for maps, music, etc. Not only that, but the free space on either side of the screen provides some nice, well placed, real estate for other stuff.
Both mounts are magnetic mounts from Scosche. The phone mount is a flush mount. The phone does get in the way of the volume know with this setup, which is a bit annoying. I'll probably just move the steel plate on my phone a bit lower so the phone sits a little higher. It is connected to the media port via a coiled usb c cable, which I really like. The GMRS radio is mounted on a magnetic swivel mount (also Scosche). It's also plugged into a power port via a coiled cable. They're both easy to grab, use, and put back. I haven't had any issues with either falling off during trail running. Not only is this a really convenient, good looking setup, but the additional screen on my phone provides for a secondary map view when I'm using OnX. I usually keep the vehicle screen zoomed in, in topo view and the phone screen zoomed out in hybrid view, to easily see my overall trail progress. It works great.
Anyway, it's a nice benefit to the smaller screen.
