5 tire rotation

I just took the TPM sensor out of my 20” spare to sell with my other 20” take-offs.

Looking to replace my spare and trying to decide whether to order a matching 18” TRD wheel or just a tundra steelie. What are everyone’s thoughts on 5 tire rotations as stated in the owner manual vs regular 4 tire rotation and spare for purely emergencies?

Slightly concerned about the wear and tear of 5 tire rotations on the center caps and wheel paint. Already have a few marks where Discount Tire knicked the TRD wheels putting them on….

Possibly outdated wisdom, but I always rotate tires so they will turn in the same direction, i.e. front-rear. Would this even be possible rotating five? I think not.

Thanks! This would work, albeit in the long run the left side tires would wear faster than the right. Probably not a big concern...

Interesting that they recommend this rotation, seems off balance as two tires will wear faster than the other 3.

I was planning on the rearward cross like this diagram:
