Hi guys,
It's been well documented that when you hookup a 7-pin trailer connection, the LC disables Cruise Control w/ Lane Keep Assist & Traffic Jam Assist. I assumed this is because with 7-pin, breaks are utilized on the trailer which cause issues with the cruise control. I know normal non-sensor based cruise control is still available tho.
My question is that since 4-pin trailers do not have breaks, does this still cause the LC to disable the normal cruise control system? I've rented a 4-pin trailer before & used it on my LC, but I didn't try cruise control at the time. Anyone with a 4-pin light trailer, could you chime in?
I bring this up because I'm looking at the Space Trailer which is 4-pin (no breaks) and would be a lot easier to travel across the country with (having Lane Assist Cruise Control to reduce fatigue).
