2025 58
Greetings: 3 generations of 4Runners later, I snagged a ‘25 58 with a roof rack and floor mats in Traverse City Michigan in mid-January. Loaded up the LC to stay 6 weeks in southeast Florida. Left in the blowing snow and followed the big storm that jammed up Nashville and buried New Orleans. Rolled in to Deerfield Beach to a balmy 47* f. I must say that this is a great vehicle, especially after my apprehension of the engine/transmission match-up. Great in all altitudes, weather, traffic mayhem, slosh, and open road. Storage was more than adequate. Fuel storage capacity should have been increased. Torque for me is fun; it surpasses the ‘Runners. Just celebrated 1741 miles with a hand carwash and will be planning non-highway routes back from Florida to northern Michigan, so any suggestions about routes north or just stuff that I should check out on my 58 would be great. Thank you.

Nice! I kind of did the same chasing some surf down in FL from VA just before Christmas. The LC250 really shines on those long road trips. It made 12 hours feel like about 4. I think it is the comfort of the seat positioning, the power when you need it, and the hi-tech assist modes. I put it in cruise and lane tracing and basically it drove itself. The traffic jam assist is amazing too.
