Greetings: 3 generations of 4Runners later, I snagged a ‘25 58 with a roof rack and floor mats in Traverse City Michigan in mid-January. Loaded up the LC to stay 6 weeks in southeast Florida. Left in the blowing snow and followed the big storm that jammed up Nashville and buried New Orleans. Rolled in to Deerfield Beach to a balmy 47* f. I must say that this is a great vehicle, especially after my apprehension of the engine/transmission match-up. Great in all altitudes, weather, traffic mayhem, slosh, and open road. Storage was more than adequate. Fuel storage capacity should have been increased. Torque for me is fun; it surpasses the ‘Runners. Just celebrated 1741 miles with a hand carwash and will be planning non-highway routes back from Florida to northern Michigan, so any suggestions about routes north or just stuff that I should check out on my 58 would be great. Thank you.
