Disclosure: this is my first real 4x4 vehicle and have minimal off-roading experience.
With that said, I was impressed with the vehicle off-road. It was so easy to drive and maneuver out on the trails. The electronic steering is effortless and makes the car feel so light. The capability exceeded my expectations being on stock suspension and limiting ground clearance. Only slightly scraped the exhaust coming down a fairly steep bolder. It handled inclines and crawled over boulders/rocks with ease in 4lo. Successfully crossed rivers at 2-3ft deep. OnX rated the Monache Jeep 4x4 trail a 3/10 but it sure felt like an 8 in some sections, just need a good line and a good spotter (no trail monitor).
Can’t wait for the next overland trip. Any suggestions for destinations in the California area with similar degree of difficulty to the Monache Jeep Trail?
