I have the SCS Gen5 17x8.5 wheels at +20 offset (close to your +18) with Nitto Terra Grappler 285/70/17. So far I don't notice any rubbing. I also haven't taken it out off roading to test the set up at the most extreme articulation. But I can tell you on-raod it doesn't rub.

Should fit no problem with +18. With the 17 inch rim the 265/70 is nearly an inch smaller than the oem tire in diameter. OEM size wild peak is 32.6 inch diameter. 265/70/17 is a 31.7 inch diameter, so a much smaller overall tire.

Yeah I would stick with 285/70/17 so it'll match the OEM wheel/tire diameter which is about 32.6.

Added bonus, you can still use the existing spare tire/wheel if you need it. and won't affect the vehicle much, AND it stays at the stock storage space.
