Sorry if this is already posted somewhere, but to save myself some time, I wanted to throw this out there.

If anyone has 0 offset wheels with a 275/70/18 (or similar size tire) with no mods, I wanna hear from you!

Any rubbing, shaping, fender hits, or otherwise will it work ? I have a wheel guy telling me no problem, but I'm hearing otherwise online, and I trust the crew on here more.

Please let me know.

Apparently these work, but that's a just under 33 tire, whereas I'd like to go a touch over for the ground clearance. Land Cruiser Tire Upgrades?

There are very many threads on this topic. It will depend on the tire but you will likely get minor rub in some circumstances, which will be improved by removing the air flow damns.

You'd be way better off with an offset around 40. Anything much lower than that will really limit tire size without a lift.

33โ€ tires fit with a zero offsite with mild rubbing. Removing some plastic such as the air damns makes them a perfect fit.

Now there is quite a lot of poke with a zero offset, which presents different problems unrelated to fit.

I thought the Icon video suggested they would hit the fender at full flex, but maybe I'm mis-remembering.

My thoughts as well. I mean...I like the look, but I wanna keep it practical too. Really like these, but only available 0 offset.

I have falken 285 70r17 on mine with (Iโ€™m pretty sure) zero offset, and yes it rubs very slightly and yes the poke is pretty aggressive. I have not had the chance to off-road it just yet so Iโ€™m not sure about full tuck or anything. That being said, the rub is very minimal and only at one very specific โ€œangleโ€ of turning and only in reverse for some reason.

Thanks Jordan. That rubbing only in reverse thing is pretty common. Not sure of the mechanics of why that is, but my Tundra did it until I brought out the heat gun.

Care to share a pic?

Sure sure, took a couple to show the poke, what wheel it is, and another where you can kind of see where it rubsโ€ฆ Iโ€™ve considered trying the heat gun but itโ€™s so minimal that im not sure if its worth it, and honestly after installing the winchโ€ฆ Iโ€™m tired lol.

Thank you! That is very helpful and seals it for me. It looks really great but is certainly a bit more poke than I'm after. You've done a nice job, and I don't blame ya for being tired! :ROFLMAO:

Another poke example on a 0 offset wheel. Functionally these are working amazingly for me, but aesthetically I dislike it.

Now, if I could get my hands on the fender flares that Arctic Trucks is putting on their J250 variant, Iโ€™d be quite pleased with the zero offset look!

How about these babies? Not sure if they'd do the trick or not - 9mm ain't much. Incidentally, these are the wheels I pulled the trigger on last night. +30 offset , 8.5 width, so ~ 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 inches less poke than yours.

Interested to buy your OEM flares for my 1958 ;)
