mine has the rattle just like this youtube example. the noise is really loud just after the engine has been warm for about five minutes between 1500 and 2000 rpm- it does sound like a loose heat shield or exhaust reltated. I really love this LC but this noise is not something I can live with...

Only 120 miles and I get a rattle/pinging sound when starting out (not at ideal) - when i rev the engine in neutral its there to0 - i think it’s comming from the exhaust system or under the vehicle but it seems to lessen as the vehicle gets warmer?

would also like to know this. And, can you remote start with the fob?
