Just got my Dongar Pro and popped it in. Fast shipping definitely appreciated! Haven't tested it beyond the driveway yet, but I will say that that 3-position mode switch is hard to operate. The extremes of "Ignition" and "timed" are manageable, but the middle "infinite" position is very hard to...
I went Viofo front and rear powered by switched OBDII adapter. It was my first time going with a rear camera and in the back of my mind I was worried that it would be a waste. After my first aggressive tailgater caught on cam, I'm 100% glad I did. I think cabin cams only really make sense for...
Wish it had the multiple-tier door pockets like the ID Buzz. I'd actually prefer to store more things out of sight but convenient in the doors and keep the dash and center console clean

BTW I kept the stock Dunlops and weighed them on the same scale I weighed the combo on. Stock Dunlops are 38.8lbs, which would make the 20" wheels 37.2 lbs (76 - 38.2) by my measurements and a net +7.5lbs per wheel for the upgrade.
I see it as predatory pricing: Markups are dealers trying to exploit supply shortages by asking to be paid off. Like if your grocery store manager demanded to be paid $5 to sell you a loaf of bread during the pandemic that still retailed for $5.99. It's bad enough that their dealers exist as...
I'd check with brokers if you are desperate. Last I checked (East coast, but a lot of brokers ship anywhere) end of June, they were going for $1K over MSRP. Quick search of LeaseHackr says the deals may be even better now in SoCal:
"Land Cruiser Hybrid 4WD with premium package at $2500 under...
Yeah but it has T-slot channels or something right? I'm saying just make these out of 8ft 2x4s with steel brackets at the ends.. then find a way to mount the 2x4s to your rack which shouldn't be hard.
At this point it's wishful thinking. There might be a few regional exceptions depending on the local market, but got mine for MSRP at the beginning of this month. The dealers that 2 months ago wanted $15K premiums (and told me it would be impossible to find without markups) were calling...
In the "Settings" screen, it's one of the first options as "HUD Main" or something. Long-press the 'OK' button to get options beyond turning it on or off
But they are diagonal from each other... the "balance" of leaving it on leads to a roughly 30-degree slope between the two. Non-symmetrical and looks very odd - not what I consider "balance" but to each their own!
Same issue for me. They showed up briefly and then stopped completely and I've never seen them again. I tried changing between all 3 levels of HUD display with no luck.
Similar issue with the MID map display, although someone else pointed out that that only works if you turned your car off...
Was just taking measurements to see what could work. Thinking of minimal drawers for a slide-out induction stove on the outlet side and TBD storage on the other. Light weight and folding will be the goals as I don’t want them in the car all the time, and want flexibility when camping to still...
Wow really? I measured 6'2" from the back to the front seats with the rear seats folded flat. That was without changing the front seat positions, which could slide forward to give a couple more inches if needed
How do you get more room? You lose space lengthwise front to back doing that AND create a dip in the floor by folding them forward. If you just lay them flat you have maximum lengthwise sleeping space at a slight incline, and no dip. Why would anyone use the fully folded configuration for...
Flipped forward? Seems like there’s a lot more room with the seats just folded down. I don’t even get the use case for flipping them forward as it creates awkward spaces.
