@kevinpalacio08 , thanks for the detailed observations!
Am curious if you think the electric A/C will stay on overnight if someone sleeps in it while overlanding?
@Nuke , Also from manual:
“●Using unleaded gasoline with an octane number or rating lower than the level previously stated may cause persistent heavy knocking. At worst, this may lead to engine damage and will void the vehicle warranty.”
@Captain Trips, Good idea on the online manual.
@tbounds02, As you surmised — No Camp Mode:
NOTICE
■To prevent 12-volt battery discharge Do not leave the air conditioning system on longer than necessary when the hybrid system is off.
@tbounds02-
Does your AC stay on w/ the engine off?
If yes, have you noticed how long it stays on w/o being turned off by either software or hybrid battery depletion?
Thx
Curious if anyone knows if the AC can stay on all night while camping?
I’m assuming a side benefit of an (assumedly) electric AC in a hybrid is the capability to go into “Camp Mode” for an extended period of time.
I like to be comfortable when I’m Roughing it.
Thanks, Nuke!
An Dual Motor Model Y w/ Wildpeak AT tires, skid plates, mattress and fridge just can't be coaxed all the way to the Arctic Ocean 🤣
Just reached out to MSRP Longo Toyota here in LA, but was not surprised when they told me List was closed to having over 100 orders! Not in a rush...
