I noticed that my clock still hasn't "fallen back" an hour.. anyone else have the same problem? I do have the "set time automatically" enabled in settings, as well as daylight saving time. I don't have the "set date and time from GPS" enabled. I'm sure if I toggle the "set time automatically"...
You da man, thank you! Is that notification settings menu new? I don't recall the notification settings having that level of granularity at all - I swear it used to be pretty much either on or off.
Ha, I've noticed this too! I've never had another vehicle where the sunlight reflects in my eyes off the hood, though admittedly it's only happened a couple of times.
Simple yes, but I think I think my experience indicates that it doesn't really "work"? Anytime I drop my kids off somewhere, or have multiple people in the vehicle this happens. If the point is to prevent a child being left in the car, I would think a seat sensor would be a much more accurate...
Because it's a lousy implementation. Since it's not actually controlled by seat sensors (or doesn't appear to be?), it's going to be inaccurate 99.999% of the time. Constant false alarms and unnecessary notifications means 1 of 2 things will happen: People will ignore it. People will disable...
Yeah after some more testing that seems to be the case - simply opening/closing a rear door triggers this alert. Oof, what a brutal feature. I'm always amazed by bad product decisions, especially at big companies like Toyota who should know better. :) Oh well, at least it can be disabled...
Sorry to revive this thread but I recently got my LC and have hit this issue several times now. From what I'm experiencing, the alert (both the audible beeps as well as the app notification) are happening when nothing is actually in the rear seats; however, if I had something in the back seat...
It's interesting that she complained a bit about the on-road ride, leaning in the corners, and felt uncomfortable/anxious about driving it on highways. Curious to hear what others think of that take. Also surprising because - I think - they have had a long-term Bronco. (is the Bronco really...
Just got my LC last week and this is annoying me too. Getting a notification that the doors are unlocked could be a really useful thing, but not when it's in my garage. This feels like a relatively easy feature enhancement that Toyota could add to the app. (they know what your home address is...
Is this just the wheels, or wheels and tires? I just took delivery of my LC this week. The 20" wheels would not have been my choice, but otherwise the vehicle is what I wanted.
Late post here, but how are you liking the 20" wheels now that you have had the vehicle for a few weeks? My dealer just called me today saying that he can get me an LC (middle trim) in the two-tone blue color, and without the premium package. This is what I'm looking for, though it does have...
Thanks for the comparison. I've long admired the 4Runner, but passed on it a few years ago (2021) mostly because my wife couldn't stand how it drove, not to mention the prehistoric interior, infotainment, etc. Even though it didn't bother me as much as her, she's also not wrong. It drives...
Congrats! Since you're coming from a 4Runner, I'm curious to hear your opinion on how it drives on road compared to the 4Runner. I've long admired the 4Runner, and looked at it closely a couple of years ago but ended up passing on it because I couldn't over how "trucky" it drove. Don't...
Doug Demuro's video was comparing the interior of the Land Cruiser vs the new 4Runner, and he felt that the 4Runner's interior was better - or at least more interesting. (less boring) Other than the placement of the infotainment screen, I kind of agree with him. Not that I dislike the LC's...
