Oh my I just realized that the LC trim comes with those running boards, but for some reason they are not showing up on the Toyota Land Cruiser specific parts.
Got to call a not so busy dealer parts to look up that parts number.
So, I have a bare bones 1958 and I would like to install running boards or steps. I have seen some videos/pictures of Toyota all over the world but USA where their Land Cruisers are rocking full size running boards. Like the one bellow.
My white one at the bottom for reference.
Had tints installed today. Xpel XR + 70% on windshield and 30% on both front doors. Also took the time to debadge that eye sore in the back called “iforcemax”.
Considering now on getting rugged tires on and custom made rock rails.
Back on the road, 800 miles on the odo and the LC is solid. Driver seat although it lacks lumbar is extremely comfortable, no soreness of any kind during this long drive.
Only thing that sucks big time is the back up camera image quality. It is bad, like….potato phone pictures bad lmao.
It will be ok 😅
Been there, done that many times, although I don’t keep my cars for years, usually 2 if anything, but no issues on any of the 40 something cars that I have been thru…including Toyotas, I just drive 😬
Numbers are as follow driving on cruise control @ 80
22.9 mpg
340 miles out one tank
15.3 gallons at 5 miles remaining of range
Cruising already for 12 hours @ 80
Driving from Maryland to Florida, 15 hrs, going to stop soon and continue tomorrow.
Its going to arrive to Miami already...
Bare bones 1958!
Took delivery today. So far so good, really smooth on the highway (not too loud as my Bronco or to quite as my Cayenne lol). Going to put it to the test right away since Im driving it back to FL, so lets see how much gas can be squeezed out of a tank.
Should take delivery of a 1958 tomorrow and 1st thing Im looking to do is getting the all weather mats and cargo mat...but...I can't find the part number online anywhere! This specific one is as bare bones as it can be (no extras from factory besides cellphone charging cables at $70). Hopefully...
IG post from back home in Venezuela, they already have more LC sitting at the port than the whole USA combined lol.
The most amazing thing is that Venezuela is currently under US sanctions, but somehow, someway they get their hands on anything, including LC’s.
Just got word from someone that is pretty well connected to the owner of a dealer in Miami. They will be selling GX and LC north of $100k for clients in Venezuela.
Back in 2015 I wanted to buy a 4Runner TRD Pro Quicksand color…impossible to find back then. At least in Miami they were at dealers...
Pretty sure that every dealer in Fl will be selling over MSRP. You see they get lots of buyers from Venezuela that pay cash and over MSRP, no questions asked, in no time those things are loaded into a shipping container and off they go. They need to launder their money somehow, someway, buying...
Very late lol, although I knew of it from the time of release I kind off forgot about it. Maybe had my mind on getting the Bronco, but I really like the looks of the 1958. Waiting on a friendly dealer up north to get their demo for test drive.
Hello everybody, just came to realize about this forum yesterday while talking to other Toyota die hards about the new gen 4Runner.
Planning on actively looking for a LC allocation basically anywhere in the US, preferably East coast since Im in Miami, but last few years I found myself having to...
