pretty much we can copy those 4th gen Tacoma aftermarket wheels, except those 17" because they don't clear Land Cruiser and Hybrid Tacoma brakes.
I agree the +60 offset on stock wheels is too conservative, I also don't want to poke out the fender, so I'll first play with spacers and determine...
yeah, most dealers only get 1, Cedar Park and Fred Haas (number 1 and number 2 volume dealers) gonna get 5-10 FEs
so if you didn't put a deposit with them back in last August and get in line, there's 0 chance now to get without markup
I think GX 550 you can have a moonroof delete option spec.
I don't think Land Cruiser there's an option like that unless you go 1958 trim.
I personally never had any moonroof related issue, I observe best practices:
wash the roof regularly (minimizing dirt that can go into the drain)
park...
I honestly don't think any sensible person is desperate enough to want to spend $10k just to have it a few months earlier than everyone else. And those who got the fu money to burn, would just go get a G wagon instead of the LC 250.
If you personally know anyone paid $10k over MSRP for their FE...
The high altitude octane rating reduction is intended for naturally aspirated engines. Under lower atmospheric pressure, 85 behaves similar to 87 at sea level in those engines and would not knock.
A forced induction engine, as is the case in the turbo 4 hybrid Land Cruiser, pressurized the air...
go by the fuel cap door, it there's no "premium required" you can use regular, if it has "premium required", putting regular in it will harm it for sure, might not be immediate but definitely will
I think that's most likely the case, GST has gotten to the point that they would rather discount the vehicle instead of not loading it with all the BS add-ons.
Example: some of their Tundras loaded with TSS package (overpriced black wheels and badging) can be had for another $1.5k off compared...
After being absolute radio silence for weeks, I finally got a v-spec from one of the First Editions allocated to Gulf States Toyota region, in case you aren't familiar with it, it includes Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Luisiana.
I was mistaken earlier and surprised that Alabama is...
I'm gonna chalk it up to the cargo ship need to traverse Panama canal to get to port of Houston and that adds time. But that doesn't make much sense if Northeast port regions are getting allocation, not sure what the route from Japan to the Atlantic side of the coast Toyota takes
I know, and that's why I wrote "if I buy", there's a chance that they would give me a surprise when the car shows up and they wouldn't budge on the mark up. And if that's the case, I'd reject that and get my deposit refunded.
Luckily, I've bought a dozen cars from that dealership and never had...
If I manage to buy mine, it'll be at MSRP because I made a deposit last August, and if that happens, that'll be the best deal at the current market and that beats your 5k over MSRP. But if you just decided to buy Land Cruiser and put down a deposit recently, I think $5k over isn't too bad...
Folks, don't fall for the "SOLD" status on that spreadsheet.
Nobody has taken delivery of Land Cruiser as of yet and no sale has been consummated.
If I have to guess, it's a value that dealership can modify at will and it gets compiled into the allocation database
right, and I speculate that Toyota engineer tested the vehicle using premium fuel. So all the baseline stats from the stress tests and subsequent bug fixes and optimization in the R & D is done with vehicle using premium. I know it can handle regular, but that's not the primary operating...
Honestly I think it's about time that we have OEM start rolling out multi factor authentication when you start the car, like when you log into Facebook and it will send you a text message with a code.
We can have that in the car when you get in, you get a text message and punch the code in and...
Not enough, well-equipped thieves have ways to defeat that:
key fob signal cloning/amplifying (they have device that captures the key fob signal and tricks the car into thinking the key is inside the vehicle and allows start).
new key reprogramming (they use the same software dealership would...
just pull the fuse out of the car when you park outside your home, try to pull hybrid related fuse such as the high voltage battery relay fuse if exists
that way they can't start the car and can't steal it.
It's a bit tedious but very cheap to do if you infrequently take the car out
