Yeah....no way these have 17 inch rotors. Urus and Audi RS6 have 17.6 inch rotor and those are the largest fitted to any production vehicle. They probably mean that the minimum clearance is 17 inches for the entire assembly.
These are all just stupid dealer games to try to make more money while they can. You have a good car now, wait a year or so for the market for these to cool down and you will do much better.
You can get a ceramic coat to last a long time if you treat it properly. Automatic car washes of any kind are pretty much a no go, even touchless ones as they use highly alkaline soaps to effectively remove road grime without agitation. Also when you have a coated car you should use a ceramic...
Ceramic coating is a long lasting hydrophobic coating that makes washing the car easier. It provides absolutely no protection to the paint. If PPF is properly applied by a good installer, you should have very few visible lines where dirt can collect, the film should be wrapped around the edges...
This is pretty normal these days, as more and more electronic systems find their way into that area. Last 3 cars I purchased do not have sunglasses holders in the center roof console area.
As long as there are more buyers than cars, " the list" is a list of people they will call offering the car with dealer markups and add ons, hoping that someone will eventually bite. It is anyones guess when the cars will be readily available at which point "the list" will be meaningless.
From what I can tell from a small sample size I saw at the local dealer (5 cars) plus what is on here. Looks like positions 10 and 11 in the VIN denote factory
RK - Hino
R5 - Tahara
All GX550 that I look up online also have R5 in positions 10 and 11.
If the above is accurate (need more data...
I don't think that will be the case, there will be a very large after market for these batteries as the same battery will end up in hundreds of thousands of vehicles a year (Tacoma, Tundra, Land Cruiser, Highlander, TX, GX etc). Look for remanufactured batteries for a 10 year old Prius and you...
I don't really care what it sounds like from outside. The more important test will be what it sounds like from inside while driving, the Toyota 2.4L turbo sounded pretty bad when under load from inside the car in the Grand Highlander I test drove...hopefully the hybrid system can keep the...
All 5000 of those will be sold before they hit the ground at 60-65K. The only ones that will sit around are at dealers with 10-20K ADM. What do you mean by "...wait a few months...save 25 Grand", do you think these things are eventually going to sell for $30K?
First edition will almost certainly not be 55K, Toyota has said "starts in mid 50K range" so that means the base 1958 model be 55k. I would guess the FE comes in somewhere between 65-70K
