Are the First Editions not in much demand?

Man that's no lie. *sees Tacoma OR sticker "hey that's not that bad. People are over reac..." "Oh, you wanted leather? ADD NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS" "oh no" "Hey look the port added $2,800 more trash" "oh no" "Our dealer charges $1,500 for nitrogen and a bug shield" 4Runner is going to...

Onboard Inverter - AC Air Compressor

It's been a while, but I always found it immeasurably easier and cheaper to just carry a tank. We made our our own back then, but they've got some awesome setups made to order now. You can air up like 20 35" tires with one full tank. And it'll air up each tire in seconds instead of waiting...

    Land Cruiser vs 4Runner

Chevy did answer though. With the Blazer. Can't believe they dropped that into the universe right about the same time Ford walked in the room and dropped the new Bronco on the table.

    Land Cruiser vs 4Runner

52 here. Pretty sure we're the target demographic LOL But man, that second paragraph is something isn't it. Nobody else offers what Toyota is laying down. I don't count the Jeep and Bronco. Those are rattletraps that lose their appeal after the first two hours on the highway for all but the...

Are the First Editions not in much demand?

I think they should have had a couple of thousand out there before they dropped the 4Runner. It's got the same engine/trans, selectible 4x4, with or without a battery, in a skin that's arguably more attractive to mainstream buyers. For what is likely going to be 20 grand less. Personally, I...

    Land Cruiser vs 4Runner

Well...I bet the 4Runner will take regular gas.

2024 Land Cruiser require Premium Fuel?

Gonna bake some noodles, but...It may depend a bit on your altitude. 85 octane is low and 89 is Premium in mile-high Denver. But 89 is low or midgrade at sea level places like San Diego.

    First Edition at dealers

God those wheels are awful. Love the rest of it.

    2025 4Runner tease

I'll eat my hat if they offer a two door.

    2024+ LC Production Updates (USA/Canada)

I don't like ANY of the wheels on it. They all look terrible to me. First time in a very long time, I'd swap them out as soon as I could find something I liked better. I'd love some steelies like you can get on the Defender.

    4Runner to Land Cruiser 250

I'm waiting on what the back seat in the 4Runner is like. If it's any smaller than the current one (or as small as the Taco's...Yeesh), or if they do something really dumb like not put HVAC vents back there looking at you Bronco...I'm out. I'm pretty on board the LC train right now lol

    Howdy Fellow LC Nuts

I'm also waiting on the 4Runner, as well as how LC pricing shakes out later this summer. Car sales are tanking and I need that to continue LOL I'm reasonably certain at this point that I'm going to tell all the dealers to bite me (over their 'options' they add at the port and dealer) and just...

Counting the days. First Edition on the ship.

Yeah. Multiple reviewers have said that the LC drive event is early April.

2024 Land Cruiser require Premium Fuel?

The bottles that add octane don't add enough to make a difference. They say "+2" and things like that on the bottle, but for a 10 gallon tank, it's more like .2 octane. Not 2.

    Suspension

It's the same platform as the Sequoia, Tundra, Tacoma, and upcoming 4Runner (assumed)...Aftermarket will be full tilt ready within months to lift these.

2024 Land Cruiser require Premium Fuel?

Not sure what the trim level was, but it had all the goodies. Beautiful brown seats, third row... My first thoughts: It is larger than I expected. I know that it's barely bigger than a 4Runner on paper, but MAN does it not feel that way standing next to each of them. It had big wheels and...

    LC 250 vs Rivian R2

I went to the OK auto show last weekend, and there wasn't one there. There was a 550 though, and I climbed all through it.

Possible 2024 land cruiser performance figures.

And less than the 4Runner...Which is a smaller vehicle in most dimensions. All new models are like this on the forums. I love it, even if I don't wind up buying LOL

2024 Land Cruiser require Premium Fuel?

Lots of things don't make sense :D WalMart can tell me how many toothpicks they have in Tupelo, Bakersfield, or London...While I'm in Oklahoma at 3AM, and do it in 10 seconds with no fuss. If you want a $100,000 car though...Ford/GM/Toyota are like "We don't know when it was built (was it...

Possible 2024 land cruiser performance figures.

With the horsepower and torque numbers of the LC, I'd be shocked if it's going to be that slow. If torque management to protect the transmission isn't too aggressive, the LC should have a helluva hole shot LOL :D

2024 Land Cruiser require Premium Fuel?

I don't know what she paid off the top of my head, but it was the highest trim with all the boxes checked and they got quite a bit off MSRP. It's got some very nice bits inside.

2024 Land Cruiser require Premium Fuel?

I'm in roughly the same position as you. I could technically retire at any time, but eh. I like my work and my wife will likely work for another 10 years...So why would I leave :D Several vehicles on my list as well. I'm talking mad smack for somebody that will probably balk at the price when...

2024 Land Cruiser require Premium Fuel?

I've had my Jeep for 30 years. I've had my Tundra 11 years. I keep my stuff long enough that slightly more expensive fuel isn't much money compared to how much I save by not buying new cars every 2-5 years. I'm 100% fine with the premium hit. Even if I wanted to be upset about premium fuel, the...
