I used the 5-pin under the overhead console. I started behind the mirror but did not see any available harness. The overhead dome had an unused 5-pin taped up by factory visible from the drivers seat. It was very easy to run the cable to the mirror above the roof lining

Got impatient waiting on fuse taps to arrive, so I went ahead and pulled the dash apart and tapped into the USB harness wire. I am not 100% sure it is the right wire….but it tested at 12v with ignition on and that’s what I needed so it works for me.

Hmm mine had a similar issue where it would prompt “Window Open” every time I started it up (all windows were closed. Had to hit OK every time until it eventually went away after a few trips. I may have messed around with the window switches to get it to go away but I don’t recall for sure
