You are talking about covering the painted part, correct? Do you have any template measurements? I bought some 3M PPF off Amazon with plans to do the same. I just need to buckle down and get it done.
This!!!^^^^. Thank you. I have been wondering if someone with access to the manuals could put together all the procedures for each maintenance action for every maintenance interval.
I am starting to wonder about rust myself. I’ve noticed that a lot of the welds on the frame aren’t fully covered with paint. Has anyone else noticed this? I’m planning on doing a pass with POR15 (I’ve never used it before but it seems to be well reviewed).
First oil change @1108 miles. The pictures online seriously don’t do it a justice. The oil filter is small! Some might say comically small. And then later in the evening, gave her her second wash by hand.
Thank you. I wrote Greenlane to see some installation pics. Said that they were adding pics to the website the following week, but hasn’t happened yet. That was a few weeks ago. I think I can move ahead with my order now.
Agreed. Would be great if we could document and catalogue procedures for each of the maintenance actions as folks arrive at each maintenance milestone.
Haha. I can get my fingers under the outside edge of the speaker cover. So I think I have the “grip it” part down. It feels petty snug, so it’s the “ripping it” part that has me a little worried. 🫣
Anyone have the instruction of how to open up the rear hatch paneling to gain access to the speaker/subwoofer? I want to do some troubleshooting if I can.
I found this link. I’m not sure which market or trim level it is for, but it leads me to believe it is meant to be a proper subwoofer. Pioneer Sound System Factory-Installed in Toyota Land Cruiser 250 | News Releases | News and Events | About Us | Pioneer
I would recommend a screen protector. I added one on my 1958. There’s a thread on it. The one I installed was “oil phobic” and does seem to pick up less smudges. Wipes clean with a slightly damp high quality microfiber.
