Toyota diffs are known to take abuse well but all things being equal, if the GX does in fact have a 9.5" diff, a larger diff means larger gears and more metal so a larger diff should usually be more robust.

Yeah…..even with the smaller fuel tank compared to the 4Runner and the cost for Premium fuel, it does pencil out to be better or comparable to the 4 Runner for fuel costs given the better mpg of the LC. Still though, even in 2024, sometimes premium is hard to find in very small, rural communities.

Ugghhhh, really like the styling and features of the new LC but premium fuel requirement might be a deal killer. A little bummed about that.

Definitely my one and only choice.

If they end up being as scarce in the US and since I'm unwilling to pay a dealer mark-up, I guess I'll likely be looking at a 2nd model year or greater.
