This might be related to the hybrid electric break booster pump and other hybrid components. On my previous toyota hybrid it was normal hearing such noises after I shutoff the car and right after I unlock the doors prior to starting the car.

It's mostly plug n play and the interior isn't hard to dismantle as it's mostly held by clips. They have two versions I believe, one with the side screen buttons and one without, the one I got is without the screen buttons. For volume control I just use the steering wheel controls .

I've installed it myself and there's no volume knob.

It's an android 14 based unit and it's highly configurable. AC controls are displayed as well as parking sensors when in reverse and steering wheel buttons work. Not sure if it's linked to the car's native mic or if it's relaying on the mic built-in .

Not sure if they'd fit since the higher trims also have other features like off road cameras linked to the larger screen. I've installed 12.3 Chinese Android based head unit from Aliexpress on mine (base trim GCC spec 2.8 diesel) and I like so far.

I wouldn't think this issue had to do with the injectors mapping as this engine has been in use with multiple Toyota models for many years now. It'd like to think this is related to the transmission programming .

I've noticed the same behaviour shifting from first to second as well, mine is 2.8 diesel that uses a similar 8 speed toyota transmission.

Did my first oil change on my 2.8 diesel at 1400km/900miles and the looked dark and thin as the factory oil is 0W20 . Did my second oil change at 5000km/3100miles , our manual "Saudi Spec" calls for 5000km oil changes for diesels and 10000km/6000 miles for petrol cars.

You could just keep the car unlocked and disconnect the negative terminal of the 12v battery. Although might be unnecessary, you may increase the tire pressure to 50 psi to avoid tire flat spotting, that's what they do with new cars sorted for sale or in transit.
