I have all sorts of brackets, Roam mounts and loops secured using the below. Toss the bolts that come with those tbolts. I also shimmed the perpendicular rails up using flat washers so they’d sit even with the side rails.

Cerakoting the plastics today. Think permanent Armor All. Did my Rubicon with this last year. Awesome stuff for bring plastics back to black and protecting new for years to come.
Thanks for the replies. In the comments of the vid I saw someone with my same concern. It’s not a pure sine inverter. I was just curious if it would damage my portable. He didn’t go into those details. Hopefully it will not. Glad to hear several of you have had success. Thanks again for the...
Has anyone attempted charging a portable power station from the inverter? I have an EcoFlow and typically would charge it from the 12v in the rear of my previous vehicle while driving. I’d keep the fridge running off of the portable battery while driving. It was enough to keep it topped off...
Thanks for the info. I have an ARB awning with an integrated led strip. It doesn’t pull 15w. I was just looking for a way to run that light without caring my EcoFlow aux battery. For quick trips it’d be nice to just connect to the vehicle without ACC. I appreciate that info though.

My Rubicon had a fuse that could be moved one position over and could make the 12v port in the cargo area constantly hot or ACC powered. Does anyone know if this is a possibility for any of the USB-C ports in the LC?
Thanks,
JB
Has anyone removed their glovebox? I am planning on mounting comms in mine and curious if anyone has tips or suggestions on proper removal steps.
Thanks in advance,
JB
Has anyone had success passing any wiring through the firewall? I am looking to route my GMRS antenna cable to the front from the cabin (glovebox specifically.) I looked and only saw mentions in another post. No pics or mention of where.
Thanks,
JB
I went by and spoke to Toyo Service yesterday. The have no idea about this vehicle since it’s that new. They agreed to play with the settings at my cost in labor. I am not willing to pay to educate them so I will submit to what we do know. The rear hatch does have the walk-away feature...
I have a First Edition. But that information in the manual is not trim level specific. I just noticed the feature mentioned in the manual and went online to find videos like this. I have nothing more than this to go on until I’ve spoken with Service.
This is a configurable option by the dealer on some models. I have asked my dealer to let me know. I have an appointment to try and get it enabled if so. See the pic attached. The feature is called “walk-away” locking.
I am new to the world of Land Cruisers. I am a current Jeep owner, but I have a Heritage Blue First Edition that is supposed to arrive this week. Can’t wait. I look forward to understanding how folks will modify and care for these trucks.
