Thanks, makes me feel like I made the right choice. I have a road trip to Jackson Hole coming up and can hardly wait to see how the LC compares to my previous 4Runner over the two weeks.
Something similar happened to me this morning; when I tried to go from the Toyota map to CarPlay the screen went black and unresponsive. Holding the power/volume button down for ten seconds causes the infotainment system to reboot. After that all was well again.
Could someone please post a photo of the plain sills? My LC Premium had the illuminated sills dropped from the spec sheet and I’m curious if I can live without them or not.
I’ve noticed a few folks have removed the small air dams in front of the front wheels. I think it looks so much better and more capable without them. Can someone describe how to remove them?
Not my photo but it shows the difference with and without.
Same situation with the door sills. Perhaps there is a parts shortage on them. I’d rather have the vehicle now without fancy light up door sills vs waiting.
Has anyone upgraded from the Dunlops to a more trail worthy tire on the optional 20 in. rims? If so could you please post pics and initial impressions?
I currently have a LC Premium w/20 inchers sitting in the Port of Portland. The first thing I plan on doing is upgrading the tires to KO2s...
I absolutely agree that that is what is happening but it would not be to difficult to poll for a new device every 30 seconds or so. We do that in computer systems and mobile devices all the time.
What happens if you connect then step out of and away from the LC for a minute or so, does it reconnect when you get back in? (I’m an engineer and trying to debug vicariously through you 😁)
For any of the CarPlay/Android Auto users, how reliable is the wireless connection? Even with a cable it frequently drops and reconnects in my ‘22 4Runner.
And how quickly does it automatically connect after starting the vehicle?
I’m in the same situation. However, I fully expect the dealership to remove them during pre delivery inspection. I’m laying out a lot of money for this vehicle so they should be able to accommodate one small request.
I agree, the new 4Runner interior seems too chaotic while the LC interior looks much more refined and “mature.”
I have a LC premium coming in a couple of weeks and can hardly wait.
Has anyone purchased from any Austin area dealers? I find it interesting that they didn’t share their allocation until much later than other dealers. I put a deposit on LC Premium at Cedar Park but was told it would be six months. I ended finding one back home in Iowa that should arrive in...
