I used to run a Vlair and pop the hood on my 4Runner. It gets old. With the LC, I made a platform and mounted the small ARB. It's wired directly to the battery right there at the back. This is so much more convenient, and quicker.
I think it's more a question of weight. I ran many sets of KO2s (C and E) on my 4Runner. They were great for everything but rain and mpgs. I just put AT4s (SL) on the LC. It basically feels like the stock street tire. What little bit of dirt I've hit so far has been no issue. No hit to mpgs...

I did this on my 4Runner. The scoop would glare bad. I took it to a shop and just showed them photos of what I wanted. $300 and a couple hours later it was perfect. After a couple years the wrap had faded a bit, but whatever, it was a truck. Still worked.

I figured this out today. I had the same issue. On the left side of the steering wheel there is a button next to the interior lights. Push it. It kills the 'auto braking'. The truck will still yell at you, but won't slam on the brakes. You can turn off the yelling in the dash settings. I forget...
