After a week of not hearing from the dealership about the roof rail dents, I called and they said they are waiting to see if Toyota posts a technical service bulletin. So I guess I have to just wait, and wonder what happens if one isn’t released.
Check over your First Edition for roof dents when taking delivery. I believe mine came through the Houston port where the roof rack was installed. Attached is a video which shows the dents on the drivers side.
One of the first things I noticed the first time I drove my LC was how cold the AC was. The lowest fan setting seems pretty high but the vents are easily adjustable. My rear seat passenger prefers fresh air so not sure how well the AC works in the second row.
I was also unsuccessful at first with a server error message when trying to set it up. I contacted Toyota customer service and a rep helped me get it working about a week later.

Upon first look I could see three dents above the rear door on the driver side but upon closer inspection there are at least 7 dents on the drivers side and 1 on the passenger side.
I purchased a FE Land Cruiser about a month ago. After reading this post I decided I'd look at my roof and found three linear dents in a similar location. I have reached out to the dealership that sold me the vehicle but have yet to hear a response. Is this a rampant issue?
